That's not the part of the fandom we're here to celebrate.
This one's for the unintentional comedy the LEGO fanbase so often affords. The quirky, offensive, uneducated or otherwise unintentionally funny comments on forums and news sites alike. The fan art and writing of questionable calibre. The hastily slapped together MOCs. The senseless loldrama. And above all else, the people who take it all far, far too seriously. Ladies and gentlemen, here's to the very bottom of the barrel that is the LEGO fandom.
Now, if you're here looking for the really great stuff from the LEGO fandom, then you're probably looking for our other blog, the Solace of LEGOman Values. Alternatively, you're actually looking for any number of high-quality LEGO blogs, but hey, more doesn't hurt.
A side note: we (probably) don't hate you. We actually don't hate anything at all! We just find your words or actions really funny, and we're sharing the incredible mirth with the world.

this is quite a good piece, and a very decent read if you’re interested in FANDOM POLITICS. I’ll admit I kind of disagree insofar as your view of the 18+ rule, but I don’t exactly care enough to disagree particularly hard (besides, in practice does anyone even pay attention to it?)
actually, another minor quibble with it:
The administration’s neglect of this area of the Lego fanbase is apparent in its appointment of Action Figure-only staff.
last I checked, this isn’t limited solely to the Action Figure subforum - I was under the impression that most of the themed subforums have their own set of moderators labeled as such (I’ve definitely seen “Star Wars Moderators” around for example). granted, the Action Figures mods probably aren’t assigned to anywhere else, which is likely what you’re getting at here, so w/e
