LEGO is perhaps the ideal toy. It fosters creativity, and from that creativity and freedom flow myriad works of breathtaking calibre. The LEGO fandom at its best is an incredible creative force, producing amazing works of scale and complexity beyond our wildest dreams, rendered lovingly in perhaps the most versatile childrens' toy there is.

That's not the part of the fandom we're here to celebrate.

This one's for the unintentional comedy the LEGO fanbase so often affords. The quirky, offensive, uneducated or otherwise unintentionally funny comments on forums and news sites alike. The fan art and writing of questionable calibre. The hastily slapped together MOCs. The senseless loldrama. And above all else, the people who take it all far, far too seriously. Ladies and gentlemen, here's to the very bottom of the barrel that is the LEGO fandom.

Now, if you're here looking for the really great stuff from the LEGO fandom, then you're probably looking for our other blog, the Solace of LEGOman Values. Alternatively, you're actually looking for any number of high-quality LEGO blogs, but hey, more doesn't hurt.

Berix’ face is PRICELESS. I had fun drawing his expression.
Kiina was HARD to draw. I drew her in more lighter armor so she’s missing her “fins” on her arms. I also did not bother to put much detail on her mask [Though I will later on I promise, for all you detail critics out there]. Now all I need is colour and then I could make this picture have more sense, because if I drew more of Kiina’s legs they’d look like they were attached to Berix.
Oh and by the way, that line was used so that it actually connects to Berix’ line in the movie.

Ahem, all silliness aside, I put some hard work into putting detail into this and it was difficult drawing the pose for Kiina.
Also, isn’t it weird how most artists that draw Kiina do that same “bra/top” style for her? It must suit her very well eh?

Lego Alpha Team Anime

Episode 3.5

Operation: Birth

Plot:

Ogel hasn’t been seen or heard from since the fight with Dash and Cam. He later reappears on a remote island and plans to destroy Omega City by triggering a volcanic eruption. Alpha Team springs into action, joined by Ana and Lisa, who are now members of the team.

Cam stays behind with Radia because of her pregnancy, and good thing she does, because Cam goes into labor, and Radia tends to her. Dash and the others find Ogel and square off. Dash then pulls a dangerous stunt and kicks Ogel down into the lava, but gets dragged down too. The team learns that both survived; Dash grabbed onto the cliff while Ogel landed on a little island surrounded by lava. Crunch and Charge manage to stop the eruption and save the city.

They return to the girls just in time, as Cam finally gives birth to her twins, whom she and Dash name Dasha and Cameron. Sometime later, Crunch and Radia give birth to Rhoda, Charge and Ana give birth to Charlotte, & Flex and Lisa give birth to Felix…
